It's about guiding you to see the power in your lived experience. To show you how wildly capable you already are. To rewrite the stories of your body and rediscover joy. It's about helping you return to wholeness.
Somatic healing helps you feel safe in your skin—even if life has shown you it's not possible up until this point.
Don't get me wrong, community gatherings have their magic, but lasting healing? That’s deeply personal and has to happen at your pace.
Those big, explosive releases might feel transformative in the moment, but what happens when the group energy fades and it’s just you again?
In my experience, without safety and support, those shifts often dissolve, leaving you feeling even more untethered and overwhelmed.
Returning to wholeness is about the quiet, steady work of reconnecting with your body. It’s about creating a space where your nervous system feels safe enough to release what it’s ready to, when it’s ready to.
And in a world obsessed with quick fixes and extremes, it’s okay to take it slow. In fact, it’s necessary. Slow healing honors where you are, respects your boundaries, and gives your body the safety it needs to heal on its own terms.
The heart of this work lies in meeting you where you are, guided by principles that honor the body’s wisdom and the stories it holds. My approach is inspired by:
→ Polyvagal Theory, which helps us understand the nervous system’s role in safety and connection
→ Internal Family Systems (IFS), a gentle exploration of the different parts of you—your fears, protectors, and longings—so they can coexist with compassion
→ Hakomi & Somatic Archaeology, which combine mindfulness and curiosity to access and work with the deeper layers of your experience
→ Nature Therapy, to foster a connection to the natural world to promote grounding, balance, and a sense of belonging by engaging with the rhythms and sensory experiences of the earth.
Through embodied conversation and sensory exploration, we create safety in your nervous system and space for your body to speak and be heard. It’s not about forcing breakthroughs or “fixing” anything; it’s about allowing your body to guide the way, however and whenever it's ready to.
*Disclaimer: This support is not a replacement for traditional therapy or medical treatment. It is designed to complement professional therapeutic or medical care as part of a holistic approach to wellbeing. Please note, I am currently unable to support individuals navigating complex mental health diagnoses or under the care of a psychiatrist. If this applies to you, I encourage you to seek specialized care tailored to your unique needs from a licensed professional familiar with the somatic approach.
Somatic work isn’t about piling on endless techniques or chasing perfection through movement routines. It doesn’t require a gym membership or a mastery of neuroscience (though those things can help if they feel right for you). The truth is, somatic work can happen in ways that feel natural and deeply personal.
It can unfold in stillness, in solitude, in the sound of your own laughter. It can emerge in relationship and conversation, or in the quiet moments of sipping your morning coffee. It’s in the noticing—the gentle check-ins with your body, the curiosity about what it’s trying to tell you.
This work is especially meaningful for those navigating a new normal—after illness, burnout, cancer, heartbreak, or a life transition that’s left you feeling disconnected from yourself and the world around you. It’s for anyone ready to feel at home in their body, even if it’s something they’ve never felt before.
The beauty of somatic work? No matter your story, circumstances, or where you’re starting from, this work meets you exactly where you are.
For years, I lived a story that wasn’t mine. Life demanded everything I had—unresolved traumas, the corporate grind—it all piled up until there was nothing left of me to give. Burnout crept in slowly, then hit me all at once, leaving me questioning everything I thought I knew about myself.
Then, at 28, I found myself in a hospital room with a cancer diagnosis that shattered any illusion of control I had left. It forced me to stop. To listen. To completely reimagine what it means to truly live.
Healing didn’t happen overnight. It wasn’t linear. It came in quiet moments of learning to sit with my body and honor the stories it carried—stories of survival, pain, and resilience.
Along the way, my background in psychology, nursing, and ongoing studies in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy gave me the tools to explore that connection further.
Today, I bring everything I’ve lived, learned, and studied into my work. Whether it’s helping you reconnect with your body or rewrite the stories you carry, I’m here to hold space for the messy, beautiful journey back to yourself.
