We are all woven into the web of life – bound to sensations, natural rhythms, the consuming pull of corporate productivity and solitary burnout, feverish disconnect lit up in blue, and a collective grief that ebbs at our conscience.
Our all-alike humanity is both what binds us together in community and isolates us from the ability to slow down, be present, and feel truly, wholly alive.
As an Eco somatic practitioner, I take on a quiet, guiding role as you re-discover control of your body, healing, and relationship to this world. Offering a space to simmer in the sweet juices of honest surrender, my somatic healing supports honor both science and lived experience, medical intervention, and ecological connection.
Allowing each to co-exist and come together, untangling spent patterns and knitting together newfound relationships so that with time, repetition, and connection to living Earth, the body can begin to settle, regulate, and reconnect with a deeper sense of belonging.
As a somatic practitioner with lived experience inside a body under prolonged stress, it was important that my eco somatic offerings reflected the symbolic needs of women navigating burnout, illness recovery, caregiving fatigue, and/or long periods of survival and stress.
All too often we wade through the waves of life harbouring grief – personal and ecological – without many places to metabolize it, let alone acknowledge its pervasive effect.
Through nature-based guidance, relational witnessing, and creative integration, my eco somatic nature immersion sessions gently address anxiety, burnout, and dysregulation at a physiological level in arrangement with nature and ecological rhythms, rather than cognitively in a clinical setting.
Eco Somatic Nature sessions are by and large offered as 90-120 minute 1:1 in-person sessions on the Gold Coast, Queensland, however I also offer limited online sessions for those who cannot travel to the Gold Coast, and periodically in small group settings (4-6 participants, in-person somatic healing Gold Coast).
Each month I organize a thoughtful curation of group get-togethers, walks, and workshops centred around creative practice and intentional connection. A different ecological theme, topic, or art form becomes the foundation for each natured-based connection opportunity – allowing an immersion into painting, earth art, writing, sound healing, and more.
“Bring Me Back My Wild” is my debut collection of poetry and prose thoughtfully penned to comfort you on your path of self-discovery, deep healing, rewilding and renewal. This collection is divided into two sections, each one showcasing self-compassion and sacred wisdom to remind you that we are not as disconnected from ourselves, each other or Mother Earth as we think.
Within these pages are lyrical and introspective musings that touch on various aspects of life, including femininity, womanhood, grief, self-love, healing from trauma, and the transformative power of reconnecting with nature and drawing wisdom from the sacred.
